The internship occurred during the period from May 11th to July 9th, 2021, with a workload of 8 hours a day, totaling 352 hours, under the supervision of the Veterinary Doctor Thainne Lemos Lira. This work aims to describe the internship location, as well as the sample followed and report the case of a female dog with fetal death uterine rupture and peritonitis, undergoing therapeutic ovary-hysterectomy surgical procedure O estágio curricular obrigatório supervisionado em medicina veterinária foi realizado na área de Clínica Médica de Pequenos Animais (CMPA) e Clínica Cirúrgica de Pequenos Animais (CCPA), na Clínica Veterinária Universitária (CVU), Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT), campus Araguaína. O mesmo ocorreu durante o período de 11 de maio a 09 de julho de 2021, com carga-horária de 8 horas diárias, totalizando 352 horas, sob supervisão da médica veterinária Thainne Lemos Lira.
