The present work makes reference to environmental education actions, and other related
activities developed in the municipal public management of Luzinópolis, taking into account
the role as a public manager. Emphasizing the importance of the civil service for the
development of policy within the municipality. As well as the activities developed with the
municipal departments of Management and Planning, Environment and Sustainable
Development and the Municipal Education Network in the municipality of Luzinópolis. In
this sense, there is a need to establish a relationship between municipal public management
and environmental education actions, highlighting the relevance of these actions for social
transformation and fundraising for small municipalities in the state of Tocantins. For this
purpose, we will use observation, work materials and additional readings and documentary
research in order to give importance to the subject in question.
