The work has as its theme the process of recording and memory of the lindô dance in Folha
Grossa. The community is located on TO-126, the road that connects Tocantinópolis to
Maurilândia, and its general objective is to understand Lindô, before the Covid-19 pandemic
and during the pandemic, what was different and how dance has been happening, how much
to the learning process of the cultural manifestation of the lindô dance. The specific objectives
are to verify how lindô has been developing; knowing the name of the song that is sung
during the performance of the dance; understand why the cultural manifestation of lindô
dance in the village of Folha Grossa was not happening before the pandemic; verify in the
lindô dance, if those people surveyed by Araújo (2016) still perform the manifestation in the
same way, or if there are differences, if so, which ones. As a research problem, the following
question runs through: How to keep the cultural manifestation of lindô alive? In the
hypothesis, I believe that few people of the new generation know Lindô, as they have never
seen the group perform. As the main methodology of the research, two people were
interviewed and there was analysis of video and photos, passed by residents of the community
itself and academics of the Rural Education course. Some authors were used as references,
namely, Quilombola (2017), Filho et al, (2011), Rodrigues (2017) and Santos (2007). The
research carried out was fundamental for the elaboration of the work and to better understand
the Dança do Lindô. |
