This dissertation has as its theme the use of Archaeological Heritage in History Classes. The aim of this work was to present how the archaeological records found in the municipality of Lajeado, State of Tocantins, can contribute to the History classes at Escola Municipal Sebastião de Sales Monteiro. The objective was to demonstrate the feasibility of working the Archaeological Heritage of Lajeado through Heritage Education. For this work, the methodology of bibliographic research, documental research and iconographic research was used. In this sense, it was possible to demonstrate the possibility of using innovative ways to arouse student interest in topics such as Prehistory. Therefore, based on the results of this master's thesis, it was proposed to create a Digital Image Panel on the social network Instagram, managed by the students themselves, and which will serve to share experiences lived through contact with the Archaeological Heritage of Lajeado. This didactic-pedagogical product is in line with the Heritage Education proposal, and helps in the teaching/learning process in History classes.
