This research has as its theme Art in the formation of the pedagogue, whose general
objective was to understand the art in the formation of the pedagogue as a critical
and creative element, thinking about its performance in the teaching practice of the
arts area. The specific objectives were to describe the historical context of the
Pedagogy course and the teaching of art in the formation of the pedagogue; discuss
the pedagogue's artistic formation and present the teacher's human formation. We
check this research as qualitative, it included bibliographic and documentary
research, aiming to seek answers about how the pedagogue's construction of
knowledge in art is taking place? Justified in the relevance that art has in the
formative process of the human being and pedagogue, in order to collaborate with
the vision and academic experience at the university. Art has a great influence on the
formation of the pedagogue, in the promotion of knowledge, in the support of human
development through social, educational, cultural, artistic, political and economic
means. The artistic formation of the pedagogue is necessary to guarantee to the
academic the development of specific competences that make possible the
understanding of the historical events, the relationships, the processes and
mechanisms of transformation and maintenance of the structures of the society.
Here, we tried to reflect on teacher training with a focus on the discipline of art and its
contribution to the training process, considering that at the end of the course, the
pedagogue is committed to providing the development of skills in the theoretical and
practical understanding of art. We establish the importance of art in the formation of
the pedagogue through the development as critical, reflective and sensitive subjects
to the movement of art and the appreciation, creativity, flexibility and autonomy. |
