CNPQ::LINGUISTICA, LETRAS E ARTES::LETRAS::LINGUAS ESTRANGEIRAS MODERNAS This paper entitled "An Investigation of Possible Students’ Disinterest and Demotivation for Oral English Language in the Classroom" show the reasons that the students of Colégio Estadual Guilherme Dourado feel discouraged in class of English Language. In addition, it seeks to show strategies that can help teachers motivate their students. Concern over this issue arose during the participant’s practicum classes at this school in 2014, where it was noticed that the students refused to use oral language in the classroom. The methodology of this research is qualitative and ethnographic. Where the researcher stayed a period of time with the participants and also applied a questionnaire at the end of this period. In the beginning it was believed that most students felt discouraged, but at the end of the research it was found that it was not the majority, because thirty-one students were questioned and a portion of eleven students of the first year of high school cited above said that they were discouraged. O presente trabalho intitulado “Prática Oral Nas Aulas De Língua Inglesa: Investigação Sobre Um Possível Desinteresse E Desmotivação Por Parte Dos Alunos” tem por objetivo mostrar as razões que levam os alunos do Colégio Estadual Guilherme Dourado a se sentirem desmotivados na aula de Língua Inglesa. Além disso, busca-se mostrar estratégias que podem auxiliar o professor a motivar seu aluno. A preocupação com esta problemática surgiu durante a aulas de estágio supervisionado da participante nesta escola no ano de 2014. Percebeu-se que os alunos se recusavam a utilizar a língua oral na sala de aula. A metodologia desta pesquisa é qualitativa e de cunho etnográfico, onde a pesquisadora conviveu um período de tempo com os participantes e também aplicou um questionário ao final deste período. No início do estudo acreditou-se que a maioria dos alunos se sentiam desmotivados, contudo no final da pesquisa verificou-se que não se tratava da maioria, pois trinta e um alunos foram questionados e uma parcela de onze alunos do 1º ano do E.M da escola citada a cima afirmaram estar desmotivados. 2022-12-07T19:15:37Z 2022-12-07T19:15:37Z 2022-12-07 Monografia CONCEIÇÃO,Hilma Monteiro da.
