Resumo:
With high consumption of automotive lubricating oil, there is also the increase in the volume of oil or lubricant Used Contaminated-OLUC a highly harmful product for the environment and human life. Thus, many companies have found the reverse logistics viable solutions for proper disposal of oluc through the re-refining process that recycles 80% to 85% of base oil characteristics, can be reused countless times without losing its original qualities. Between 2010 and 2014, the State of Tocantins reached the target for collection and proper disposal of oluc established by the National Environmental Council (CONAMA), although less than 70% to total sales. One of the key factors hindering this gathering in the region is the regional culture as it is passed from generation to generation that oluc is good for many purposes, all of which are considered harmful to the environment and illegal under the environmental agencies. The objective of this work is to identify how does the allocation of oluc in machine shops of a small town in the North of Tocantins State, given the lack of information and awareness of the local population, as well as the logistical difficulty of collection and transport suitable. Thus, use shall be the literature and the case study through interviews for a qualitative analysis of information collected.
