Inventory is an integral asset of companies having significant relevance to the success or
detriment of the organization. In this context, the study aimed to analyze the model of
inventory management in the parts sector of a car dealership in the city of Araguaína,
Tocantins. As specific objectives sought to identify which model of inventory management of
the parts sector used by the car dealership; describe how the concessionaire uses information
from inventory management and its importance in the decision-making process; and
investigate the behavior of the stock through the ABC classification stock management
method. The research was classified as a case study with a qualitative approach and
descriptive nature. Data were collected through a questionnaire with objective and subjective
questions. In this way, it was found that the stock management system used is SISDIA, for
stock control they use the MAX-MAX system and in the ABC classification, the parts are
classified from A to J, considering demand and turnaround time that a particular part has in
stock |
