The theme of Education in Brazil is a subject that needs observation and attention,
given its relevance and timeliness. Therefore, it aims to discuss the problems faced
by Brazilian teachers in the contemporary social context. For that, a bibliographic
clipping was used, with a theoretical and descriptive character, with the intention of
bringing reflections that contribute to teacher stimulation in the face of the challenges
presented to the profession. It was observed that due to the misdirection of
educational policies, the economic sector has dominated the pedagogical field,
resulting in the disfiguration of the school's role. As a consequence, it is visualized
the devaluation of teachers, being detrimental to the profession, as well as the
perception of serious attacks that end up discouraging new entrants in the teaching
career. In view of this, it is understood that alternatives should be proposed about
these bottlenecks, so, from the Freiriana perspective, the idea of a democratic and
popular school is proposed, based on liberating education, with a view to the
formation of conscious individuals of the role in the context in which it is inserted. |
