Resumo:
In the development of this research, we investigated and carried out a historical constitution of the deaf in society, the laws that support them, the process of inclusion and perpetuation of pedagogical resources that help in the teaching of mathematics at the level of Basic Education, as well as the formulation of a proposal didactics and game construction, arising from the methodological guidelines of Mathematics Education, based on data obtained through theoretical research that were outlined in the course of this academic production. Part of this exploration was dedicated to bibliographic research where we constituted from the problem of how the use of games in the teaching of the four fundamental operations of arithmetic, can contribute to the teaching and learning of deaf students? Through sources from the History of the Deaf and Mathematics Education, a presentation of the process of inclusion of people with disabilities, emphasis on the deaf and the process of inserting teaching materials in Mathematics Education. In addition, we undertook an analysis of a didactic sequence using the "Roulette of Learning", a game that we created and applied at Escola Estadual Modelo in Araguaína - TO, in a 7th grade class of Elementary School, under the purpose of teaching the four fundamental operations of arithmetic, behavior analysis through the application of a game aimed at inclusion and communication between deaf and hearing subjects. The results expressed envisage the feasibility of application and flexibility regarding the possibilities of content that the game can contemplate, as well as the use of Brazilian Sign Language, in fact, promotes interaction and inclusion among students.
