The good academic performance of a student depends on the result of the interaction of several factors intrinsic and extrinsic to the person, and the performance presented by the student during the school learning process depends, on other factors, such as social conditions, personal relationships and psychological conditions. Thus, the objective of this work was to describe the socioeconomic profile of high school seniors at Escola Cem Professor Florêncio Aires in Porto Nacional- TO. Field research was used as a methodology. A total of 33 students participated in the survey, which was carried out between October 18th and 25th, 2021, through the application of an electronic form created in Google Forms. The results show that 18 (55%) are female; (46%) consider themselves of mixed ethnicity, followed by white (36%); 34% of students walk to school; 33% by car; 24% by bicycle and 9% by motorcycle; 97% of students live with their parents and 3% with a grandmother(ô). The most prevalent type of residence was own (70%), rented (27%) and loaned (3%). In the end, it was concluded that none of the students receive benefits from the federal government's social programs and stated that they intended to attend higher education after completing high school.
