When it comes to digital technologies, internet, information and communication, it is true to say that today's reality is very different from what it was a few decades ago, some areas such as: Medicine, Engineering and Services, use technology for their benefit, to achieve your goals quickly and effectively. However, in Education these important tools are not being well used, such as, for example, to support literacy. This can be seen in the teaching-learning process of most basic education institutions in Brazil. In view of this, the main objective of this work is to investigate how digital technologies are being applied in the Teaching of Geography at the Felix Camoa I School, in the municipality of Porto Nacional. As a methodology, we opted for a bibliographic survey on the subject in question, followed by field studies, where questionnaires were produced and applied to three classes of the 1st year of high school and to two Geography teachers at the school. Among the results, it is highlighted that there is the availability of technological resources, by the school and the students, as well as the existence of some knowledge, of the students and teachers of Geography, about some applications and their functionalities, but they are not used as resources. didactics in Geography classes. |
