The people of Yemen, a country located in the Middle East, suffer from the war of the current government, backed by a military coalition led by Saudi Arabia, against a rebel militia from the Houthi family. As this conflict is still ongoing, the temporal delineation of this serious study from the beginning of the war in 2015 to 2019. The Hadi government and its supporters denounce Iran's involvement in the war by giving aid to the rebels. denied by the parties. The historical context preceding the war is evidenced to demonstrate the main relevant events and to understand the reasons why the country is at war. The purpose of this paper is to expose the human rights violations of the civilian population in war, especially by the government that has a duty to protect citizens within Yemeni territory. In addition, violations of international humanitarian law will be pointed out, as well as the disadvantages of an international system based on the guidelines of neoliberalism at the height of globalization. Na contemporaneidade, onde tem se observado cada vez mais o aumento de conflitos armados internos, um combate em curso que tem suas raízes na primavera árabe será estudado neste trabalho. A população do Iêmen, país localizado no Oriente Médio, sofre com a guerra do atual governo, apoiado por uma coalizão militar liderada pela Arábia Saudita, contra uma milícia rebelde proveniente da família Houthi. Por se tratar de um conflito ainda em curso a delimitação temporal deste estudo será do início da referida guerra em 2015 até 2019. O governo de Hadi bem como seus apoiadores, denunciam o envolvimento do Irã na guerra dando auxílio aos rebeldes, fato esse que é negado pelas partes. O contexto histórico antecedente à guerra é evidenciado para demonstrar os principais acontecimentos relevantes e para compreender os motivos pelos quais o país está em guerra. O objetivo desse trabalho é o de expor as violações dos direitos humanos da população civil na guerra, principalmente pelo governo que tem o dever de proteger os cidadãos dentro do território iemenita.
