Considering that the theme of this research was chosen through the need to observe and record the narratives of the people Quilombola Dona Juscelina. Analyzing how the values and teachings learned and transmitted by the matriarch and the other elders of this quilombo are being followed by the current community, we question: in what way the life narratives of the matriarch Dona Juscelina influence and represent the quilombola subjects of the municipality of Muricilândia? In this way, we analyze the forms of social representations of quilombo chosen throughout the narrative processes of the matriarch's life histories and the elders collected through the technique and methodology of Oral History (THOMPSON, 1992). We observe that the quilombola subjects follow the teachings of Dona Juscelina in continuous practice, occurring through events, dances, songs, the celebration of the abolition and through the wheels of conversations of the elders narrating their stories. It is plausible to say that in the memory of many collaborators on the subject, Dona Juscelina is the significant representation of being a quilombola, of transposing the marks of resistance and struggle of her ancestors materialized in the celebrations, meetings and daily actions - projecting in the people of this municipality values of belonging to be/be (in the) quilombo. The academic knowledge of the university with the community creates bonds of emancipation, without hierarchizing or electing scientific or cultural knowledge of the community quilombola. |
