Resumo:
The present work deals with the life trajectories of five women coconut shell farmers in the town of Centro dos Borges in the municipality of Riachinho Tocantins, addressing extrativism, social movements emphasizing female protagonism, and the teaching of Geography articulated on the topic research. I have as geographical categories of analysis to category Place and Territory. Thus, the aim of this work is to analyze the socio-spatial trajectory of the coconut shell creeks of Centro dos Borges village, Riachinho-Tocantins municipality in 2021 and everyday life. Exploratory research with qualitative approach, bibliographic research, or field study was used as methodology to understand and observe how the women coconut drinkers live on a daily basis in-depth analysis and description of the researched phenomenon, primary data collection through a series of semi-structured interviews with open-ended questions related to the social, economic and cultural context of the research respondents, enveloping empirical observations, another data source used in the research formed photographic records ao decorrer do field study, or secondary data survey foram obtained through bibliographic survey through readings of published articles and works that discuss and analyze the research topic. Arranged in geographical categories of territory and place presenting the elements that will build the lives of these women that promote income generation through traditional practices and in partnership with the environment. We consider that despite the limitations we have in developing research due to Covid-19 the results obtained foram significant, therefore, will contribute to the knowledge of the study area, the identity of coconut drip creeks and how these knowledges are important for their conservation life and also in the construction of knowledge in the teaching of Geography in basic education.
