By the year 2012, the investment in sanitation in Araguaína occurred in only three
districts, Couto Village, including where we have a station for treatment of , part of the
Center and Blue Village. As highlighted between 2012 and 2015 was an expansion
ofthe sewerage system that the promoted the development of the localities answered of
14 districts for the company responsible for Odebrecht Environmental/Saneatins ,
these districts located specifically on the map. As a result this, Araguaína is still
marked by great inequality and deficit access, especially regarding the collect and
treatment of sewage. Currently, the city has received greater government attention and
there is a significant amount of to be invested. However, it is necessary that these
investments are sustainable. For this, were used as primary sources, unstructured
interviews with technicians and sanitation sector and, as secondary sources, we were
collected information on the websites of the main public and private that has relevance
as sanitation in Brazil. Perspective have been identified to the company responsible for
the service, more than 80% of the city of Araguaína-TO , with the collected and sewage
treatment by the end of 2017. As a contribution, sought to identify the need to be
worked in the classroom the importance of sewage treatment infrastructure for basic
education in the classroom for health and environment preservation. |
