The Dissertation is linked to the ' research line ': Curriculum, teacher training and knowledge
teachers, from Post- Graduate Program in Education of the Federal University of Tocantins.
The object of study of this research is focused on the conceptions of military officer vocational
education training course for officers - TCO of the Military Police Academy Tiradentes
(MPAT) in Palmas and its relations with the human formation. Alike the Military Police an
integral part of society, researched the "quantum" of conceptions of human formation exists in
the curriculum of MPAT, in the case of this study, the official course at the institution referred,
which offer higher education of undergraduate (Bachelor of public security). The overall
objective of this research was to analyze the conceptions of the components, skills and
competencies of the array of curricular training course for officers of the MPAT regarding
human formation. For this purpose, its researched understand the conceptions of formation of
curricular matrix of the TCO with regard to integral formation (Paideia), identifying the
components, skills and competences, in particular their implications on the Professional profile
of the egress of MPAT Officer (Bachelor of public security). The relevance of the research
support it in the fact that the formation of the military police is preponderant to offer society a
quality service, especially during his performance on the street, that is, in the exercise of
operational activity. It should be noted that the military police has a very important social
function, therefore, deals directly with the citizen, in the field where the Federal Constitution
calls for the preservation of public order. The Dissertation is a result of documentary and
bibliographical research, analytical descriptive of nature. Is theoretically based on the main
authors: Jaeger, (2001), human development training, classical education; Monroe, (1905)
classical education, education in the middle ages, education in modern age; Le Goff, (2011)
middle ages, birth of universities, resumes; Cambi, (1999) the history of pedagogy, emphasis on
education in the modern age and educational theories in 19th and 20th century; Durant, (1994)
human training, education in the period of the reformation (Church); Foucault, (1984) elements
of power, hierarchy of the State, social functions; Saviani, (2012) development of education in
Brazil; Morin, (2000, 2003) Educational Bases for the 21st century; LE BOTERF, (2003)
Professional Education. Also conducted documentary research based on the national curriculum
matrix for formative actions of the professionals in the area of public security (SENASP, 2008)
and the curricular matrix OFC – MPAT. In order to understand the pedagogical principles of the
TCO, analysis was performed between the curricular aspects of the course and the Professional
Profile required the officer of GPMO (Group of Military Police Officers) by the military police
of the Tocantins State-MPTS. The final considerations has indicated that the curriculum of the
TCO despite having elements that integrate the conceptions of human formation, these are not
sufficient to enable the professional military police understand each other from yourself (live
with others). |
