Resumo:
This paper presents the central focus of the research work of teachers in the second cycle of basic education in public schools in the municipality of Wanderlândia - TO. We aimed to analyze the Cartography and Pedagogical Practices in Geography classes at II fundamental cycle in public schools in the municipality of Wanderlândia - Tocantins. The methodology encompassed literature, field research and case study, using data collection having with bases on interviews with teachers who teach the curriculum component of 6 geography to the 9th year and data collection in textbooks the school Our Lady of Conception and State school José Luiz Siqueira. The result of this Research indicates that mapping has great value, but also and transmitted in very traditional way in schools, in which students still find it difficult to learn the mapping. With the presence of a more dynamic stuff the students learn with less difficulty, as if something more focused on their reality and language and when properly applied, contributes effectively to increase the creative potential of students, who represent the largest learning, referring to some considerations, the study assumes that schools use the strategies and dynamics to develop and enhance the action of his students aiming to improve their knowledge learning and participation in class. From the search result, we analyze how is the work of teachers, and to evaluate the cartographic concept of learners.
