The work has as objective the discussion and routing proposition to address deficits in
learning geography discipline in thematic mapping, schools selected for the study were: CEM
(Secondary School Center) Dr. José Aluisio currently College of Military police (unit III),
State College Professor Silvandira S. Lima and College Educandário Goal Araguaína, chosen
by the criterion of distance from one another, have initiation grants teaching, where I did my
internship, schools with a high school geography, to show the syllabus of these schools. The
research allowed to analyze the methodologies used in public and private schools, showing
the reality of a private school in relation to the public. The completion of course work is to
report the forms of education, highlighting the shortcomings and difficulties of teachers to
teach the classes, forms of assimilation by the students. The issue is the teachers are really
prepared and graduates in the area? Apply the best pedagogical ways? He attempted to
diagnose the amount of resources in the school, if these are used by teachers, therefore, not
enough to have resources if it has the domain using. Exit the traditional methods to arouse
students' interest, because we live in the age of technology, working with play activities to
facilitate teaching and learning in cartography. Through interviews and questionnaires given
to students and teachers, even reporting, the importance of using maps and globes, we note
that this is little used during the lessons. Soon realized that students can assimilate the content
when using the maps and globes, by using easy to interpret and assemble the mental maps. |
