The objective and to draw a profile from the students who participate in some of the scholarship programs that are offered by the degree course in Mathematics, and so that we can recognize a little more about the reality of each of these students both in social life and in economic life. Knowing the importance of this scholarship to these students in their academic life, how much the financial representation that the scholarship brings to their economic life, if the value they receive as a scholarship student, is able to meet their basic needs such as transportation, food and housing . Taking a historical approach on student assistance, from the 1930s to the present, bringing, as it has developed this policy of assistance to students, until its consolidation with the enactment of the PNAES. The research was carried out through a socioeconomic questionnaire composed of 50 questions, which was constituted with questions of personal, social and questions that are directly linked to the scholarship, being these questions the majority of multiple choices. It was made a survey of the number of students participating in some of the ball programs within the course of Mathematics Degree in the first semester / 2019, and it was verified that there were 59 (fifty-nine) students in total, who were surveyed. From these students and the analysis of the data we show that, within the UFT we have the importance of the scholarship in the life of the students, since a lot of them live in rent, contribute or pay between R $ 101.00 to R $ 300.00 with housing. They make their meals in the University Restaurant, besides paying or contributing with the transportation until the UFT. Given the need for public policy implementations in education, so that IFES students can join, stay efficiently and succeed in completing the undergraduate course. There must be more research in these areas to have as much knowledge as possible in this field, so that we can have a fairer education for all. O presente trabalho tem como meta, identificar qual é o perfil socioeconômico dos alunos bolsistas de licenciatura em Matemática da UFT campus Araguaína. O objetivo e traçar um perfil a partir dos alunos que participam de alguns dos programas de bolsas que são ofertados pelo Curso de Licenciatura em Matemática, e assim para que possamos reconhecer um pouco mais sobre a realidade de cada um desses alunos tanto na vida social quanto na vida econômica. Saber qual a importância dessa bolsa para esses alunos na sua vida acadêmica, qual a representatividade financeira que a bolsa trás para sua vida econômica, se o valor que recebe como aluno bolsista, é capaz de suprir as suas necessidades básicas como transporte, alimentação e moradia. Fazendo uma abordagem histórica sobre a assistência estudantil, desde a década de trinta até os dias atuais, trazendo assim, como se desenvolveu essa política de assistência aos estudantes, até sua consolidação com a promulgação do PNAES. A pesquisa foi realizada através de um questionário socioeconômico composto por 50 questões, que foi constituído com perguntas de informações pessoais, sociais e perguntas que estão ligadas diretamente a bolsa, sendo estas questões a maioria de múltiplas escolhas. Foi feito um levantamento do quantitativo de alunos que participavam de alguns dos programas de bolsas dentro do Curso de Licenciatura em Matemática no 1o semestre/2019, e constatou-se que existiam 59 (cinquenta e nove) alunos no total. A partir desses alunos e das análises dos dados constatados que, dentro da UFT temos a importância da bolsa na vida dos estudantes, pois boa parte moram de aluguel, contribuem ou pagam entre R$ 101,00 até R$ 300,00 com moradia, realizam suas refeições no Restaurante Universitário, além de pagarem ou contribuírem com o transporte até a UFT. Dada as necessidades de implementações de políticas públicas na educação, para que assim os alunos das IFES possam ingressar permanecer com eficiência e ter êxito na conclusão do Curso de graduação.
