Resumo:
Matrix support as a new way of producing health, is an important instrument for promoting the user's mental health care in its entirety, based on the shared construction of pedagogicaltherapeutic intervention proposals through the articulation between two or more teams, one being a reference and the other specialized in mental health. Given the potential of this strategy, the objective of this study was to investigate the practice of the psychologist in the actions of matrix support in mental health crossed by COVID-19, in the municipality of Palmas/TO. Semistructured interviews were carried out in online format with two psychologists who worked at the city's Psychosocial Care Center (CAPS) during the pandemic period. The research used a qualitative approach, exploratory character and Bardin's content analysis technique. From the data analysis, five categories were identified, namely: Definition of matrix support from the perspective of the interviewees: when and why; Activities developed by the psychologist in the matrix support and in the context of the pandemic; Matrix support in the pandemic: adaptation of services and management; Challenges/difficulties that emerged with the pandemic: (dis)articulation of the network and Reflection of the development of matrix support actions for users. The theoretical framework used for data processing is based on authors who dialogue with social psychology and institutional analysis such as Pichón Rivière, José Bleger, Goffman, aiming to understand the institutional crossings that permeate the work of the psychologist in matrix support in times of pandemic, as well as as well as other authors of socio-historical psychology who can question the statements made by the participants. It was found that the work of professionals about matrix support proved to be, for the most part, in the political sense, for the guarantee of users' rights. In addition, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some problems were highlighted, such as the temporary suspension of matrix support, the return of activities remotely intermediated by management and the (dis)articulation of the health network, which reflects on the service to the patient. user. However, despite the challenges mentioned, matrix support is an important instrument in sharing knowledge and care in mental health at different levels of care, health equipment and also in an intersectoral way, based on case discussions, continuing education, shared care and presentation of the service to the other devices on the network.
