Since this analytical construction brings the possibility of working with the productive gaps present in the region, as well as making it possible to know the potential of the main productive practices within the technologies available in the studied region, as well as possibilities for implementing new production chains, considering the vulnerabilities of the animal production systems and the main difficulties faced by the families in the settlement, such as access to commercialization of products. In this study, interviews were carried out with 26 settlers from the Santa Cruz II PA, with different profiles. In the table, people who reported their full name are identified by their initials, which means Unidentified. In the age variable, most people did not provide the information, some because they were uncomfortable to reveal their age and others because they did not ask. In the results obtained, it was observed that most settlers have more people aged 36 years and few people interviewed were younger people. After the results and the interviews carried out in the present work, it was concluded that most of the residents in the settlement PA Santa Cruz II are over 36 years old, have little education and most families receive government benefits. A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar os aspectos socioeconômicos dos assentados da reforma agrária do Projeto de Assentamento Santa Cruz II no município de Araguatins-TO, com o intuito de diagnosticar as dificuldades sob a ótica dos assentados e a realidade produtiva, especificamente no que tange a comercialização dos produtos de origem animal, nas diversas cadeias produtivas dentro da agricultura familiar, que é a base econômica do território. Visto que esta construção analítica traz a possibilidade de trabalhar frente as lacunas produtivas presentes na região, bem como possibilita conhecer as potencialidades das principais práticas produtivas dentro das tecnologias disponíveis na região estudada, assim como possibilidades de implementação de novas cadeias produtivas, considerando as vulnerabilidades dos sistemas de produção animal e as principais dificuldades enfrentadas pelas famílias do assentamento, como o acesso a comercialização dos produtos. Nesse estudo foram realizadas entrevistas com 26 assentados do PA Santa Cruz II, com perfis distintos. Na tabela as pessoas que informaram seu nome completo estão identificadas pelas iniciais. Na variável idade, 2 das pessoas não deram a informação, por ficarem sem jeito de revelar sua idade. Nos resultados obtidos, observou-se que a maioria dos assentados apresentam mais de 36 anos de idade e poucas pessoas entrevistadas eram pessoas mais jovens.
