The present paper deals with some notes regarding the initial training of teachers of the
Science Course with Full Enablement in Mathematics in the region of Araguaína, in the North
of the State. As the intention to describe the history of the formation of the same and to
present the political-administrative motivations that influenced the creation and development
of the course. Taking into account the socio-historical context and culture. The research was
carried out through the methods of Historical Research and the qualitative method, through a
questionnaire answered by 10 graduates, from a total of more than fifty of the aforementioned
course, subjects/actors of the research. The same has as central analysis the contributions of
the institution for the training of these graduates, seeking to verify who these professionals
are, if they are working in the area, and also making it necessary to analyze some questions
regarding the formative aspect, from the analysis of the curricular structure of the course to
certify the extent to which the course has contributed to their theoretical training. In this
direction the old course contributed to the formation of teachers, but in the old structure of the
course did not contemplate disciplines that had as the fulcrum the theoretical question,
therefore, there is a need of formation in this direction for the professionals who work in the
area of mathematics mainly. However, the research shows that the UFT has actively
contributed to the training of teachers of the Natural Sciences and Mathematics. |
