Resumo:
The main theme of this research is the training of teacher trainers, with emphasis on Mathematics teachers. The work allowed bringing reflections to the trainers about their teaching practices, it is a qualitative research of the documentary type, we used as an analysis instrument the Lattes curriculum of the trainers is a tool that professionals can report their experiences and record data from academic achievements. The choice of this theme was due to assimilating the importance of understanding the training of the teacher trainer, as he is responsible for the training of other teachers, as well as the fact that there is no other research done on this topic. We defined as the general objective of this work to outline the profile of teacher trainers who work in Mathematics Degree courses in Tocantins and, in order to achieve this objective, we elaborated the following specific objectives: (1) to identify who are the trainers of Mathematics teachers in Tocantins State of Tocantins; (2) describe the formation and professional performance of the trainers; (3) analyze their lines of research and adherence to teacher training. We analyzed four courses in the state of Tocantins and their respective trainers, after describing them and some issues that are part of their training, such as their graduation, post-graduation, area and sub-area of activity and subjects they teach. In general, the analysis of the information allows us to perceive how homogeneous a group of teacher trainers are, having differences in terms of training since graduation, making us reflect that the Mathematics Licentiate course needs a look focused on who is training the students. future teachers and what this person can teach him so that he also becomes a trainer, but now for life, a basic education educator.
