In this way, the general objective of this study was to identify the perception of the employees about the importance of the norms of prevention of work accident in the laundry of the Regional Hospital of Araguaína, having as problematic to understand to what extent workers incorporate the standards and established measures required by the institution? For that, a research characterized as exploratory and descriptive was carried out, conducting interviews with the employees and with the technique of work safety, in a total of 11 interviews, between the months of June to July of 2018. It is considered that the employees have a good perception about the importance of the work done by the occupational safety technician and also about the use of PPE when carrying out the work activities. Os trabalhadores de uma lavanderia hospitalar estão expostos a diversos tipos de riscos de acidente de trabalho. Desta forma, o objetivo geral deste trabalho foi identificar a percepção dos funcionários sobre a importância das normas de prevenção de acidente de trabalho na lavanderia do Hospital regional de Araguaína, tendo como problemática entender em que medida os trabalhadores incorporam as normas e medidas estabelecidas exigidas pela instituição? Para tanto, utilizou-se de uma pesquisa caracterizada como exploratória e descritiva realizando entrevistas com os funcionários e com a técnica de segurança do trabalho, num total de 11 entrevistas, entre os meses de junho a julho de 2018.
