The theme of this study is music in child education. We took as research object the contribution
of music to the child's development and learning. This research is opportune and of great
relevance because it deals with issues relevant to the education of pedagogues, art teachers,
psychology students and the academic community in general, and because it demonstrates the
importance of music for the formation of children. Therefore, this research is justified, because
in addition to adding to academic training, it will contribute in the future, as a pedagogue,
adopting the musical language as an ally in teaching classes. We problematize the study as
follows: how can music education as an element of culture contribute to the development of the
child? Our general objective is to understand the effects of music on the development and
learning of children. The methodology used in this study was bibliographical research in books
and scientific articles. Finally, we present the reflection that music is an important ally in
contributing to the development and learning of the child. Therefore, it is necessary that musical
education becomes effective and occupies school spaces with significant musical practices that
prioritize the integral development of children affected by it. |
