The Supervised Curricular Internship was carried out with the autonomous Veterinarian Cinthian Cássia Mendonça, in the city of Araguaína in the area of Veterinary Anesthesiology, from March 13 to May 25, 2023, accounting for a workload of 390 hours, under the guidance of Prof. . . Dr. Andressa Francisca Silva Nogueira and supervisor of the Veterinary Doctor MSc. Cinthian Cássia Mendonça. During this period, monitoring of anesthesia for elective and non-elective surgeries and studies related to the area was carried out. A total of 67 procedures were followed, 2 of which were sedation and 65 were general anesthesia, with pathological ovariohystectomy as the most frequent procedure. This report describes the internship location and the anesthetic procedure performed on a dog for osteosynthesis of the radius and ulna, attended during the completion period of the curricular internship. |
