As a theoretical basis, the reflections are based on Paulo Freire's studies on the conception and perspective of critical learning and its achievements on students. Second World War (1939-1945). The intention is to think of didactic strategies, using technology and comics as learning instruments so that they can contribute to the complementation of information from General History textbooks, specifically in High School, expanding the possibilities of identification and use of other historical sources. It is understood that this method makes it possible to understand the actors involved in this historical context and also to perceive the role of women, which is little highlighted in traditional historiography. Neste trabalho analisa-se o uso das histórias em quadrinhos da heroína Mulher Maravilha nas aulas de História. Como embasamento teórico as reflexões estão pautadas nos estudos de Paulo Freire sobre a concepção e perspectiva de aprendizagem crítica e seus efeitos sobre os estudantes, para isso, realizou-se uma proposta didática, visando trabalhar a referida personagem como recurso metodológico ao discutir o conteúdo da Segunda Guerra Mundial (1939-1945). A intenção é pensar estratégias didáticas, usando a tecnologia e os quadrinhos como instrumentos de aprendizagem para que possam contribuir na complementação das informações dos livros didáticos de História Geral, especificamente no Ensino Médio, ampliando as possibilidades de identificação e uso de outras fontes históricas.
