The curricular supervised fellowship was carried out from March 6th to May 9th 2012 at the Section of Small Animal Medicine of the “Governador Laudo Natel” Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the College of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences of São Paulo State University (UNESP), campus of Jaboticabal, São Paulo State, Brazil, computing a total of 352 hours of clinical activities. One hundred-forty-seven cases were seen during that time. The fellow´s duties included helping residents, performing physical examinations, drawing samples for ancillary tests, and giving medications as prescribed. This report describes the activities developed during the fellowship, giving special detail of three clinical cases seen during that time. |
