The supervised traineeship was carried out with the veterinarian Matheus Oliveira
Cavalcanti in PROVET – Produzindo resultados company for the period from May
18 to 24 August 2015, totaling 509 hours. This period was followed the routine of
the company and the veterinarian in field visits, developing production work and
breeding cattle with the use of some biotechnologies such as ultrasound. Was
carried out by the veterinarian, techniques of artificial insemination in fixed time in
100 cows, pregnancy diagnosis in 3000 females, gynecological examination in 500
cows, selection of 500 cows for breeding, technical assistance in health and
reproductive management in 12 farms, castration 10 sheep and five cattle and aid
to one dystocia. This report aims to describe the activities and discuss
gynecological examination and diagnosis of gestational cows, in which were
accompanied on routine trainee during the traineeship supervised. |
