This work aimed to investigate the effects of virtual relationships between professors and students in the educational context, specifically considering the intensification of this virtualization due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a qualitative, exploratory and bibliographical research. The study proposed a dialogue between Bauman's theorizations about liquid society and the Freudian concept of discontent, but also sought to bring contemporary authors, with works related to the pandemic context of Covid-19, the bond between student and teacher, the teaching process in a remote model, the current discontent and virtualization and its effects. It was observed that the discontent generated by the intensification of virtual relationships and the liquid world, in education, produced implications in the social bond between teacher and student, which especially cross the transference relationship, which is expressed through a more fragile bond , diluted by meeting applications, virtual classrooms, where, for example, the figure of the teacher ends up being replaced by the computer screen and, in turn, students are restricted to “little squares” that are intended for them in these rooms. |
