The Supervised stage was held at the Agricultural Protection Agency of Tocantins
(ADAPEC / TO), the Local Unit Veterinary (UVL) in the city of Araguaína. The stage
was the period of November 3, 2015 to January 22, 2016, totaling 360 hours, under
the supervision of the veterinarian Alessandro José Ferreira dos Santos, head of the
Local Veterinary Unit. During the internship were followed the National Program for
the Eradication of Foot and Mouth Disease (PNEFA), National Program for Avian
Health (NPFS), National Programme for Control and Eradication of Brucellosis and
Tuberculosis (PNCEBT), National Programme for Health Suídea (SNPs) Program
national rabies Control of Herbívioros (PNCRH) and the national Programme of
Health Equidae (ENP). Because it was the highest number of cases followed and the
effective participation throughout the conduct of the event, the work will talk about the
National Programme for Health equine, facing the control of Equine Infectious
Anemia, including the description of a case of this disease, served during the period
of stage.
