The internship took place from August 13 to October 26, 2018, with a workload of 390 hours. Numerous activities were carried out in the areas of breeding, animal production, and eventual field surgeries in beef cattle and dairy cattle in properties located in the region of Araguaína, Tocantins and in the State of Pará. Among the activities developed, the implementation of programs (IATF), diagnosis of pregnancy by ultrasonography or transretal palpation, gynecological examination, andrological examination, selection of matrices, analysis of reproductive traits in the properties, through the mating season, choice of genetically evaluated bulls, economic properties, dehorning, castration, among others. The objective of this study was to analyze the performance of the breeding season and the influence of genetic variability of bulls on productive and reproductive indexes of the herd in two properties of Araguaína, Tocantins region. The compulsory supervised curricular internship is undoubtedly one of the most important steps in the formation of a professional future, since it allows a very diversified view of the current job market, as well as the peculiar characteristics of the particular area of activity that the future professional wants to follow.
