In football, the use of Electronic Performance and Tracking Systems (EPTS) was approved by the F´ed´eration Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) in 2015. Subsequently, FIFA has been developing regulations regarding the use of EPTS in football, standardizing technologies and procedures (BOARD, 2021), which has also been happening in other sports. This study conducted a systematic literature review on the available EPTS technologies and their types. Furthermore, as a research objective, a prototype was developed using Bluetooth Low Energy, embedded in an ESP32 board, and employing noise removal using Kalman filters. Finally, performance tests of the prototype were carried out to evaluate the accuracy of the collected data, its battery life, and a comparison was made between the results obtained in the prototype tests and other systems available in the market. In the comparison, factors such as size, weight, and prices were also considered among the different systems used in the evaluation Desde os primórdios da humanidade, nós apreciadores de esportes fazemos análises a respeito do desenvolvimento dos atletas em suas atividades esportivas. No futebol, o uso de dispositivos de Sistemas Eletrônicos de Desempenho e Rastreamento (EPTS - Electronic Performance and Tracking Systems) foi aprovado pela Federação Internacional de Futebol Associado (FIFA), em 2015. Desde então, a FIFA vem desenvolvendo regulamenta ções sobre o uso de EPTS no futebol, padronizando tecnologias e procedimentos (BOARD, 2021), algo que também tem ocorrido em outros esportes. Este estudo realizou um levantamento bibliográfico sistematizado acerca das tecnologias de EPTS disponíveis na atualidade e seus tipos. Ademais, como objetivo da pesquisa, foi desenvolvido um protótipo utilizando Bluetooth Low Energy, embarcado em uma placa ESP32, e empregando remoção de ruídos utilizando filtros de Kalman. Por fim, foram realizados testes de desempenho do protótipo para avaliar a acurácia dos dados coletados, seu tempo de autonomia e também feita comparação dos resultados obtidos nos testes do protótipo com outros sistemas disponíveis no mercado.
