It is visible, through the database made available by the chambers of commerce, that the focus of exports today are products without added value. Talking about exports within small companies raises the degree of anxiety of entrepreneurs, because there is a preconception that it is only possible for fully structured companies, with high production. Besides being a difficult, expensive, and bureaucratic process. The aim of this work is to demonstrate the effectiveness of PEIEX as a helper to enter the international market. The present work discusses the low quantitative numbers of exports of manufactured products in the state of Tocantins, thus creating a problem about the industrialization of the state and aims to solve this deficit with the Export Qualification Program - PEIEX. In this way, to reach such a conclusion, the following construction of the work is present: (a) presentation of the theory that supports the institutions that aim to provide support in the foreign market onslaught - neoinstitutionalism; (b) conceptualizes foreign trade and international trade; (c) sequencedby an analysis of the Brazilian and Tocantins trade balance, which indicates the need for the incentive since the export numbers are still too low; (d) finally, descriptively presents the program and justifies the implementation of PEIEX in the state of Tocantins. Com a constante evolução do mercado comercial, os desafios dos setores nacionais são em acompanhar o desenvolvimento tecnológico e permanecer competitivo internacionalmente. É visível, através do banco de dados disponibilizados pelas câmaras de comércio, que o foco das exportações são, hoje, produtos sem valor agregado. Falar em exportação dentro de pequenas empresas eleva o grau de ansiedade dos empresários, isso pois, existe uma preconcepção de que só é possível para empresas completamente estruturadas, com produção elevada. Além de ser um processo difícil, caro e burocrático. O alvo do trabalho é demonstrar a efetividade do PEIEX como auxiliador para adentrar no mercado internacional. O presente trabalho discorre sobre os números quantitativos baixos de exportações de produtos manufaturados no estado do Tocantins, cria assim uma problemática acerca da industrialização do estado e visa solucionar esse déficit com o Programa de Qualificação para Exportação – PEIEX. Desse modo, para chegar a tal conclusão, faz-se presente a seguinte construção do trabalho: (a) apresentação da teoria que dá suporte as instituições que visam dar suporte na investida ao mercado estrangeiro - neoinstitucionalismo; (b) conceitua o comércio exterior e comércio internacional; (c) sequenciado por uma análise da balança comercial brasileira e tocantinense, que indica a necessidade do incentivo visto que os números de exportação são ainda demasiadamente baixos; (d) por fim, apresenta descritivamente o programa e justifica a implementação do PEIEX no estado do Tocantins. 2023-12-22T12:25:24Z 2023-12-22T12:25:24Z 2022-04-27 Monografia DUTRA, Anna Beatriz Theophilo.
