CNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA::MATEMATICA In this monograph, we engage in a comprehensive discussion that addresses topics pertinent to the teaching and learning of mathematics in basic education. Exploring the students' engagement in the construction and use of Manipulable Didactic Material, we offer them the opportunity to discern how the concepts of Trigonometry relate to everyday life. We used a qualitative approach for the development of the investigation that took place within the scope of the Internship III discipline, where the intern applied some assumptions of mathematical learning with the use of manipulative didactic material in a 2nd year high school class, with the objective of demonstrating how the homemade theodolites could facilitate the understanding of trigonometric ratios. Our results are in line with the theoretical predictions of Mathematics Education researchers, who advocate the use of manipulable didactic material so that basic education students have an active role in the teaching and learning process, enhancing their mathematical learning and improving their involvement with the classroom activities. Nesta monografia, nos envolvemos em uma discussão abrangente que aborda tópicos pertinentes ao ensino e aprendizagem da matemática na educação básica. Explorando o engajamento dos alunos na construção e uso de Material Didático Manipulável, oferecemos-lhes a oportunidade de discernir como os conceitos da Trigonometria se relacionam com a vida cotidiana. Utilizamos uma abordagem qualitativa para desenvolvimento da investigação que ocorreu no âmbito da disciplina Estágio III, onde o estagiário realizou aplicação de alguns pressupostos da aprendizagem matemática com uso de material didático manipulável em turma de 2° ano do ensino médio, com o objetivo de demonstrar como os teodolitos caseiros poderiam facilitar a compreensão das razões trigonométricas. Nossos resultados vão ao encontro das previsões teóricas de pesquisadores da Educação Matemática, que preconizam o uso de material didático manipulável para que o aluno da educação básica tenha um papel ativo no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, potencializando sua aprendizagem matemática e melhorando seu envolvimento com as atividades em sala. 2024-01-30T12:28:21Z 2024-01-30T12:28:21Z 2024-01-30 Monografia BRITO, Geomax Lopes de.
