The aim is to present an alternative perspective on these mathematical concepts, emphasizing that, despite various approaches, mathematics remains consistent, leading to convergent results. To illustrate how this interrelation provides a new understanding of logarithms, we will employ the theorem of the characterization of logarithmic functions as a foundation. Additionally, practical applications of logarithms in everyday life will be highlighted, enriching the experience with tangible examples. Este trabalho foi desenvolvido através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica focada na interconexão entre logaritmos e hipérboles, explorando a fascinante sinergia entre ambos. O objetivo é apresentar uma perspectiva alternativa sobre estes conceitos matemáticos, enfatizando que, apesar das abordagens variadas, a matemática se mantém consistente, conduzindo a resultados convergentes. Para ilustrar como essa inter-relação oferece uma nova compreensão dos logaritmos, empregaremos o teorema da caracterização das funções logarítmicas como base.
