The purpose of this work was a pedagogical didactic production for History Teaching, using
Panelada as a teaching space. The main objective was to understand the events in the space
we occupy based on the relationship between cultural heritage and local history. The
methodological strategy was Heritage Education, which in addition to providing support for
the teaching of History, created possibilities for students to recognize the panada as an
integral part of local culture and history. The work has ways of establishing a “teaching”
relationship with students based on discussions about historical memory and its relationship
with cultural heritage. In addition to seeking to overcome the difficulties of many students in
not understanding the diversity of cultural heritage in the space in which they are inserted,
imbued by a vision of monumentalist and Eurocentric cultural heritage. The use of Heritage
Education with students in the “teaching” process in non-formal spaces helped students
assimilate the relationship between local history and the panada and historically understand its
importance as a cultural heritage of the city of Imperatriz. The didactic resource of the work
consisted of a didactic sequence that allows teachers to experiment with their students when
using this type of theme in History Teaching. |
