Resumo:
This research aims to understand how domestic violence suffered by women in Bairro Alto Bonito, in the municipality of Tocantinópolis (TO), observes the possible consequences caused by the aggressors and the rights constituted through public policies achieved by women's struggle. As a methodology, we carried out semi- structured interviews with (3) three women who suffer/have suffered domestic violence. Their names were defined as flowers for reasons of protection and women's choice. The research indicated that the women interviewed suffer domestic violence, especially physical aggression, but also psychological and property violence.
