Every year, there are innovations in this regard, as well as in the field of media and social networks. In a certain way, individuals come to exist not only in a physical world but also in a virtual world because a portion of a person's daily time is spent on social networks and applications. This happens for various reasons, with one of the main ones being the fact that people partially depend on social networks to socialize with others. In other words, these networks provide interaction with people from all over the world, in addition to enabling intellectual and cognitive development. In the case of individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), digital tools can be effective as aids in the teaching and learning process. Through digital technologies, they can develop intellectual and communicative skills and, most importantly, overcome one of their most delicate barriers, that of socializing with others. This applies not only in society in general but also within the family and especially in the educational environment. An analytical study will be conducted on the use of digital tools in the learning process of autistic students and the development of a prototype, Autism Vowels, whose objective is to integrate technology as a means of assistance in the learning process of individuals with ASD, as they often face difficulties in social interaction. As tecnologias digitais têm mudado e avançado cada vez mais rápido nos últimos tempos. Todos os anos há novidades no que se refere a elas, como também nas mídias e redes sociais. De certa maneira o indivíduo passa a existir não somente em um mundo físico, mas alinhado a um mundo virtual, pois parte do tempo do dia de uma pessoa é gasto nas redes sociais e aplicativos. Isso se dá por vários motivos, entre um dos principais, está o fato de que dependem parcialmente das redes sociais para socializar com outras pessoas. Em outras palavras, as redes proporcionam interação com pessoas de todo o mundo, além de possibilitar o desenvolvimento intelectual e cognitivo. No caso de indivíduos diagnosticados com TEA – Transtorno do Espectro Autista, as ferramentas digitais podem ser eficazes como auxiliares no processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Por meio das tecnologias digitais, eles podem desenvolver habilidades intelectuais, comunicativas e principalmente driblar uma de suas barreiras mais delicadas, o da socialização com os demais. Tanto no ambiente da sociedade em geral, familiar e principalmente escolar.
