Resumo:
Fertilization management is of fundamental importance for high corn production capacity. Therefore, potassium adduction is directly related to this production capacity, which is one of the greatest nutritional sources in the development of the corn crop. It is extremely important to identify the characteristics that are associated with the responsiveness of the use of potassium fertilization. Based on this, the objective of the present study was, through path analysis, to evaluate and identify the characteristics that have the greatest correlation between productivity (PROD) and responsiveness to the use of potassium. The experiment was carried out in the municipality of Santa Maria das Barreiras in the 2017/2018 harvest, using two doses of low K (45 kg/ha) and high K (90 kg/ha) fertilization in 10 treatments (PR 27D28, 2B655, AG1051, AG8088, AL BANDEIRANTES, ANHEMBI, BR206, BRS 3046, CATIVERDE, ORION). In order to evaluate the following characteristics: Ear height (AE); Plant height (AP), ear diameter (DE), ear length (EC), number of grains per row (NGF), number of rows (NF) and yield (PROD). The path and variance analyzes were performed using the Genes program. Key-words: Potassium fertilization. Zea mays. Productivity. Training
