This research presents through the lenses of Applied Linguistics a case study about the
contribution and difficulties of Center of Continuing Studies on Letters (CECLLA) towards
the development of English language teacher at Federal University of Tocantins. The aim of
the research is precisely to investigate the contribution of the project by raising awareness in
the context of in English Language teaching. Through a case study structured by three steps:
participant observation, field notes and semi-structured questionnaire, the data were collected,
triangulated and compared with the similar literature in which the theoretical framework is
built. The results of the analyzed corpus point to the contributions and confrontations that
teachers found in teaching as a monitor teacher, considering that they contributed to the
development of a critical awareness of this teacher in formation so that we can understand that
the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT) as higher education institution core has fulfilled its
roles by contributing to the universalization and promotion of courses that fill some of the
gaps in early education. |
