This article seeks to analyze the importance of the subject History of Education in teaching courses, analyzing the PPCs of teaching courses at the Federal University of Tocantins, and the
historical development of this subject in teacher training courses. Through a documentary analysis, we seek to analyze the impacts that the study of this subject generates in the formation
and practice of the Pedagogue. Through this research, we had the opportunity to realize that
this discipline is present in almost all UFT degree courses, the history of the institution and of
each city that has a campus with a degree, as well as the analysis of the Curriculum Proposals
of all degree courses. Following this path, we managed to contextualize the discussion both
taking into account the particularities of our time and our region, reaching the conclusion that
the continuous study of it will produce a more reflective professional, both in relation to society
and in his role of teaching and capable of dealing with what is present in the educational context. |
