Resumo:
The emergence of "Underground Movements" is a social phenomenon that has been growing, especially since the middle of the first decade of the 21st century, provided by the technological advancement of sound reproduction devices and the Internet. In view of this, it becomes possible for their musicians to react to a market that was once almost exclusively for the selected ones of the Phonographic Industry, the Pop artists. This aspect inspired the creation of this work, in which we seek an analysis of the Underground Macapaense Scene in the sense of its organization and production to understand the dynamics of these new organizations. Whose is: Why the productions of independent musical artists, of the rock genre, have a low presence in the big local media ?. We bring the notion of "work" and "division of labor" as well as the contributions of the Frankfurt School on "Cultural Industry" and "modern rationality", which were used as a basis for understanding "Musical Production Stages" and The counterpoint between the undergrounds and the Pop's. It was concluded that these Movements arise as a need for media recognition by creating an alternative route for the dissemination of independent works. The methodology used for the work was: the bibliographic research on the pertinent themes; Field research with interviews and application of questionnaires; Gathering of materials such as photos, videos, news from newspapers, images; And analysis of the productions of independent artists.
