This study aims to analyze the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in the State of Pará. To achieve this objective, a bibliographical research was carried out, through a survey of scientific publications, aiming at the construction of this literature review. It was found that the impacts of COVID-19 on the tourism sector in the State of Pará, with emphasis on the municipality of Santarém. They can be observed especially through the air flow, which had a reduction in the number of passengers, especially in 2021, when the number of tourists who disembarked in the region was a little over a thousand international passengers. In addition to the transport sector, hotels, food, entertainment and leisure were greatly affected, increasing the damage to the economy. In Santarém, the events sector suffered a major impact due to the cancellation of cultural and religious parties and festivals that are part of the state's calendar of activities, which negatively impacted the municipality's economy. With the help of the federal and state governments, the tourist flow in Santarém is being resumed, increasing the leisure and entertainment sector, in addition to expanding other necessary services for the tourist to be well received. It was concluded that tourism, as a driver of the economy, was greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and currently, the resumption of activities has been articulated with a focus on biosecurity protocols necessary to offer tourists safe spaces, with control and treatment of the pandemic A pandemia da COVID-19 se alastrou rapidamente por todo mundo, afetando a economia, e especialmente o setor de turismo, devido às restrições sanitárias impostas pela Organização Mundial de Saúde (OMS). Este estudo tem por objetivo, analisar os impactos da pandemia COVID-19 no Estado do Pará. Para alcançar tal objetivo, realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica, através de levantamento de publicações científicas, visando a construção desta revisão de literatura. Verificou-se que os impactos do COVID-19 no setor turístico no Estado do Pará, dando ênfase para o município de Santarém. Podem ser observados especialmente através do fluxo aéreo, que teve uma redução no número de passageiros, especialmente em 2021, em que a quantidade de turistas que desembarcaram na região foi de um pouco mais de mil passageiros internacionais. Além do setor de transporte, a hotelaria, alimentação, entretenimento e lazer foram muito prejudicados, aumentando o prejuízo na economia. Em Santarém, o setor de eventos sofreu um grande impacto devido ao cancelamento das festas culturais e religiosas e festivais que fazem parte do calendário de atividades do Estado, o que impactou negativamente a economia do município. Com o auxílio dos governos federal e estadual, o fluxo turístico em Santarém está sendo retomado, incrementando o setor de lazer e entretenimento, além de ampliar outros serviços necessários para que o turista seja bem recebido.
