This appears nowadays as a new tool of Journalism, with great acceptance by the public that seeks this type of product. Infotainment comprises Information + Entertainment inserted in communication vehicles. For this monograph a bibliographic research was carried out, bringing discussions and concepts about infotainment. From there, an analysis of the Diário Magazine, a printed communication vehicle of the State of Amapá, was carried out, in which the framing and characterization of the practice of Infotainment can be gauged. Thus, the objective of this work is to show that Infotainment emerges as a journalistic tool created to provide a better presentation of the news, without losing the credibility of the information, besides providing the reader with a lighter and more pleasant reading. And, as a main result, it is concluded that the Diário Magazine can be considered an example of the use of INFOTHERMENT in journalism in the state of Amapá. O presente trabalho se propõe a analisar a aplicação do INFOtenimento na revista Diário. Este figura nos dias atuais como uma nova ferramenta do Jornalismo, com grande aceitação por parte do público que busca por este tipo de produto. O INFOtenimento compreende Informação + Entretenimento inseridos em veículos de comunicação. Para esta monografia, realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica trazendo discussões e conceitos acerca do INFOtenimento. A partir daí, realizou-se análise da Revista Diário, veículo de comunicação impresso do Estado do Amapá, no qual pode-se aferir o enquadramento e caracterização da prática do INFOtenimento. Dessa forma, o objetivo deste trabalho é mostrar que o INFOtenimento surge como uma ferramenta jornalística criada para proporcionar uma melhor apresentação das notícias, sem perder a credibilidade das informações, além de proporcionar ao leitor uma leitura mais leve e agradável.
