Resumo:
Amazon being one tropical terrestrial biome is seen as an icon of global importance especially with regard to the contribution of the fluxes of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the scenario of global change. There are studies that supports the idea that Amazon will undergo a transformation can become an environment with similar characteristics will a savanna or Cerrado. The existing literature provides little information and data related to patches of savanna Amazon. There is an important need to study the Amazonian Cerrado. In order to evaluate the variation of soil CO2 flux in an area of the Cerrado region of Alter-do-Chão correlating to climatic variables, we estimated CO2 flux from two different calculation methods and correlated with the variable relative humidity and soil and air temperature. It was concluded that the CO2 flow in the area is lower than the rainforest, the humidity of the soil influences the soil CO2 flux in the Cerrado studied and the relative humidity and air temperature has no influence on the flow. Topography also influenced the flow that soon after a rain is higher. There was a more efficient method of calculation.
