The following proposals aim to present all the initial aspects for the development of a revitalization project through cultural management in the Macapá Central Market. Rampant growth and disorderly occupation, coupled with the lack of infrastructure and policies for preserving historic and cultural assets for the city of Macapá, have caused damage to the structure and environment of the building. Despite the existence of competent urban plans, at the time of urbanization of Macapá, the lack of resources and posture of the managers prevented their execution. Studies carried out by analyzing documents such as the inventory dossier of IPHAN and the master plan of Macapá, interviews and photographic survey formed the basis for elaboration of a proposal following all the norms and adaptations necessary for the progress of the project. Finally, possible solutions are presented for the recovery of the object being studied. |
