Resumo:
This work described the proposal to apply a game for the teaching of Astronomy in a class of 1st year of high school in a public school located in the municipality of Santarém-PA. The research describes the conception and elaboration of the game and its rules, as well as the materials necessary for its construction, in addition to exploring an application in the classroom and the discussion of the results. The objective of the work is to present how the application of a didactic game helps in the teaching of astronomy. To this end, an applied-purpose research was developed, with a descriptive objective, quanti-qualitative approach, bibliographic procedures and intervention actions at school. The main results point to signs of learning about the movements of the Earth, the phenomenon of the seasons, definition of the light year, movements of the Sun and the concept of gravity. Finally, he concluded that the game paves the way for the understanding of more in-depth concepts.
