Resumo:
This ethnographic research focuses on studying the shamanism of the indigenous Borari people of Alter do Chão and their interactions with non-human beings, particularly with the so-called enchanted beings. The ethnography highlights the centrality of the study of shamanism to understanding the Borari connection with their territory. The research directs its attention to the shamanic and ontological relational relationships of the Borari people, having delved into what the literature calls caboclo shamanism at a local level.
