Therefore, the objective of this study was to evaluate the basic sanitation conditions and their health impacts on residents living around the culvert in the Mapiri neighborhood in Santarém, PA, identifying the sanitary conditions of the residences and the problems that interfere directly on the health of the residents, evaluating the health impacts. It is a descriptive research, with a quantitative approach, in which the sample counted 16 interviewees, being applied a questionnaire, evaluation sheet in addition to the data search in the e-SUS information system, with socioeconomic, socioenvironmental factors and notifications about diseases. It was noticed that the residents do not relate the lack of basic sanitation as a source of disease, however they are satisfied with the "water treatment", which are served by the public network.
